Where we go
Destinations we know inside out
Forty-eight countries, one obsession: getting the details right. Start with somewhere that catches your eye.
Ready to book
Trips departing soon
Fully planned itineraries with confirmed dates. Every one can be run privately, or adapted to your own dates.

Why yatrai
The difference is in the detail
We're a small team of travel planners, not a booking website. That means fewer trips, planned better.
Small groups, always
Most departures cap at 10–12 travellers, and private trips are the default. No coaches, no queues.
Planners who've been
Every itinerary is written by someone who has walked the route, eaten in the restaurants and knows the shortcuts.
Local partners on the ground
We work with independent guides and family-run stays, so more of your money stays where you're travelling.
Nothing hidden
Clear pricing, honest exclusions and a real human on the other end of the phone. That's the whole pitch.
How it works
From idea to itinerary in four steps
No forms that go nowhere. A real planner picks up your brief and stays with you until you're home.
Step 1
Tell us what you dream of
A short brief — where, when, who's coming and how you like to travel. Two minutes, no obligation.
Step 2
We design the itinerary
A real planner builds a day-by-day plan with hand-picked stays, not a template. Usually within two days.
Step 3
Refine it together
Swap hotels, add a day, change the pace. We revise until it's exactly right — as many rounds as you need.
Step 4
Travel, fully supported
Everything is booked and confirmed before you fly, with a planner on WhatsApp throughout your trip.
Traveller reviews

Genuinely the best week of our lives
We have travelled a fair bit and this was the first time everything simply worked. The suite in Oia was better than the photos, the private catamaran was the highlight of our honeymoon, and the restaurant they booked for our last night was a place we never would have found. The little WhatsApp updates each morning were a lovely touch.

The safari we had been dreaming about for years
Our guide Joseph could spot a leopard from a moving vehicle at half a kilometre. We saw a crossing on the Mara River on day five after two days of patient positioning, and the camp was small and genuinely comfortable. Worth every penny and then some.

Thoughtful, unhurried and deeply personal
What I appreciated most was how the pace was built for us rather than for a brochure. Two full free afternoons meant we actually got to know a neighbourhood instead of rushing between temples. The ryokan night was extraordinary.

Hard, brilliantly organised, unforgettable
The W trek is not easy and I would not want it to be. What made the difference was that every refugio booking, transfer and permit was already handled, so all we had to do was walk. The Grey Glacier boat crossing in the morning light is something I will not forget.

India, without any of the stress
I had been nervous about travelling in India with my parents. The private car and driver made it effortless, the heritage hotels were stunning, and having the same driver for eleven days meant he genuinely looked after us. My mother has not stopped talking about the desert camp.

Absolutely faultless from start to finish
Ten years married and we finally did the overwater villa. The seaplane transfer was an experience in itself, and the sandbank picnic was the most romantic thing we have ever done. The team responded to every question within minutes, even at the weekend.
